Meeting called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Chair Gerald Daley.
1. Public Comment – None
2. Update on Meetings with DECD and DEEP regarding Bid Specifications
Amy and Joe to provide updates. Meet with DEEP and DECD, they have provided all the
plans ahead of time and all seemed well. Then went on the site visit. The DEEP
representative kept referring to we throughout the comments. Two handouts, a photo log
and email from Stacy Pappano. She had big issues with a tree in the bank Waiting on
the NDDB response to respond to Stacy Pappano’s email.
3. Status/balance of funding
Design - 1,281,143 remaining
Approximately 1.14 million left for remediation.
4. DiBattisto Associates
Christina Wasch and DiBattisto Associates Not very likely to be able to use the previous
design. Should be under 10 million.
New boathouse - similar to Wesleyan, with a larger upstairs.
Existing boathouse to be renovated for the community program
5. Next Steps:
Gerry would like to present the project and cost to the Council in July so that the referendum
can be placed on the November ballot. He stated the importance of having this project
voted on in the upcoming election.
