Correspondence: Dainty Rubbish Service- Director Russo notifies the Sanitation Commission about the
fire that occurred at 90 Industrial Ave. An application for a permit to dump at 80 Industrial Ave. until 90
Industrial Ave is fixed. We would be doing the application, because it would take longer for Dainty to
get approval. Director Russo will meet with Deputy General Counsel Kori Termine Wisneski and Dainty
Rubbish regarding this matter.
NEW BUSINESS:
a. Recycle updates- We will be getting charged $115.00 per ton for contamination. Kimberly will be
getting more involved to help reduce contamination. She will be working closely with the
sanitation foreman to get this under control. Further discussion ensued.
b. Update on Tipping Fee- Carl Erlacher, Director of Finance is here to give the Sanitation
Commission an update in the tipping fees. Carl States that we are now in a positive situation.
The tip fees are down. Further discussion ensued.
c. Interest & Lien charges for Jeffrey Wilson – Jeffrey Wilson is stationed overseas and had an
address change. The bill has accumulated interest charges and lien charges. We are asking the
permission of the Sanitation Commission to waive the interest and lien charges. A motion was
made. The motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
