Call to Order: Co-Chair Councilwoman Meghan Carta called the meeting to order at 5:31PM 2. Adoption of the Agenda: Motion: Councilman Loffredo made a motion to adopt the agenda Second: Farah Scala Discussion: None Call to Vote: Unanimously voted to adopt the agenda 3. Approval of Minutes from: December 15th, 2022 Motion: Councilman Loffredo Second: Farah Scala Discussion: None Call to vote: unanimously voted to approve the minutes 4. Public Comment: Public comment opened at 5:34PM by Co-Chair Councilwoman Carta Committee Secretary Randall Mel read five public comments sent via email for the record Public Comment closed at 5:44  January 19th, 2023 Page 2 5. Approval of the time-sheet for the Committee Secretary Motion: Councilman Loffredo Second: Richard Pelletier Discussion: None Call to vote: unanimously voted to approve the timesheet for the Committee Secretary 6. Update and Discussion on Farm Hill Roof Project Paul Jorgensen, Silver Petrucelli informational: Provided update from the contractor as it pertains to the gutter guards and other punch list items. Contractor will be back at the building within the next week and will finish the work before the next meeting Paul Jorgensen updated the committee as it pertains to the P/V panels and next steps needed to complete the project including needing to provide a new quote. Councilwoman Carta requested for Silver Petrucelli to provide an updated quote to the committee for consideration at the next meeting 7. Update on Snow Roof Project Paul Jorgensen, Silver Petrucelli: No Current updates on the Snow Roof Project at this time. Mentioned that the committee and city would have to send the application to the state with all portions of the project to be completed. Silver Petrucelli will provide updated quotes to the committee on the P/V panels in the next meeting 8. Discussion of MHS Turf/Track Replacement Project-Next Steps Purchasing Agent, Christopher Puorro provided an update on the RFP that has gone out to find a civil engineer to evaluate the MHS project options. One potential firm came for the walk through, several others are in the process of evaluating and completing the RFP Superintendent of Schools Dr. Vazquez Matos provided an update on the condition of the MHS Turf Executive Director of Operations Marco Gaylord provided an update on the current condition of the MHS turf as it relates to the safety of students and its various uses Board of Education Chairwoman Deborah Cain provided an update on the condition of the MHS turf Director of Athletics and Physical Education Elisha De Jesus provided an update on the current condition of the MHS turf as it relates to students safety Councilwoman Carta and Councilman Loffredo provided updates on the reasoning in the RFP for a civil engineering firm to evaluate the options of turf versus natural grass at MHS 9.
