The meet ing was held both virtually and in-person. Members of the public had access via https://webex.com, the WebEx applicat ion, and via telephone. 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 5:30pm. 2. Roll Call Present: Steven Kovach Jonathan Pulino Nicholas Ficaro Kevin Brignole David Booth (Seated for Linda Reil) Absent: Linda Reil Staff: Marek Kozlkowski, Director and Tom Hazel Zoning Enforcement Officer Public: No members of the public logged into the meeting. 3. Approval of Minutes 3.1. Regular Meeting of March 3, 2022 3.2. Motion to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2022 meeting Moved by Pulino, Seconded by Booth Voting in favor: Kovach, Pulino, Ficaro, Brignole, and Booth Passed 5-0-0 4. Old Business None. 5. New Business None. 6. Public Hearing 6.1. Request for a variance of Section 28.03 to construct additions to the existing building at 218 Smith Street in the NECD zone. Page 1 of 2 Application withdrawn. 6.2. Request for G.S. 14-54 location approval for the sales of used cars at 15 Walnut Street. Applicant/Agent Timothy Potvin/Lincoln Auto World. Applicant present. Applicant presented application to sell used cars at the proposed location. Applicant stated that he would look to stock 20-30 cars at a time. Any repair work would be for in house use only, no public repairs or service. The intention will be for virtual sales with no client visits and all cars to be shipped upon sale. The estimated staff would be approximately four persons. The current location at 15 Walnut is all mechanic shops and this activity would be consistent with current usages. Motion to close public hearing Moved by Pulino, Seconded by Brignole Voting in favor: Kovach, Pulino Ficaro, Brignole, and Booth Passed 5-0-0 Motion to the variance Moved by Pulino, Seconded by Booth Voting in favor: Kovach, Pulino Ficaro, Brignole, and Booth Passed 5-0-0 Prior to vote, Pulino noted the business matched existing businesses at the site. Brignole further noted that the site is a massive industrial area. Ficaro stated the use fit the location. 7. Adjournment Motion to adjourn Moved by Brignole, Seconded by Ficaro Voting in favor: Kovach, Pulino Ficaro, Brignole, and Booth Passed 5-0-0 The meeting adjourned at 5:37pm.
