135 Commission Chamber, City Hall Millville, New Jersey July 19, 2017 1:00 p.m. The Board of Commissioners met at a Special Meeting with Mayor Santiago presiding. The members present included: Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Porreca Compari and Commissioner Sooy. City Attorney, Brock Russell was also present. Mayor Santiago made the statement required by the Open Public Meeting Act of 1975. “This meeting is being conducted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act of 1975, was advertised, posted and made available to the public as required by Statute. The Municipal Clerk is directed to include a statement in the minutes of this meeting.” Public Comment Mayor Santiago stated we have now reached the public comment portion of our meeting. Anyone who would like to address the commission, please go to the podium, state your name, and address your concerns. He added to please limit your comments to approximately 5 minutes. Seeing nobody come forward, Mayor Santiago deemed the public portion closed. Resolution City Clerk read Resolution No. 230—2017 authorizing Closed Session for the following matter: Interviews for Municipal Judge Position — Personnel Exemption Upon a motion by Commissioner Davis and second by Commissioner Sooy, the motion passed by the following vote: Yeas: Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Porreca Compari, Commissioner Sooy and Mayor Santiago. Closed Session The Commissioners left the Commission Chambers and reconvened in the t4 hi floor Conference Room to hold the Closed Session. Once fmished, the Commissioners re-opened the Special Session Meeting in the Commission Chambers. Adjournment There being no further comments the meeting was adjourned on a motion by Commissioner Davis and a second by Commissioner Porreca Compari subject to the call of the chair.
