The Pledge of Allegiance was said and followed by invocation from Pastor Pamela Lange
of Mount Carmel Lutheran Church.
The question was put: Are there any corrections to the Common Council Journal of
Proceedings for the regular meeting of September 1, 2016? There being none, the minutes
of the meeting were approved without objection.
Ald. Perez moved that the Common Council resolve itself into a Committee of the Whole
for the purposes of making a presentation. There was no objection.
Officers Alexander Ayala and Jose Acevedo were recognized and escorted by Ald. Perez,
Donovan, Witkowski, Bohl, and Johnson.
Ald. Donovan moved that the Committee of the Whole now rises. There was no
objection.
Mr. Andre Lee Ellis and Ms. Rose Daitsman were recognized as recipients of the 2016
Frank P. Zeidler Public Service Awards.
