The Pledge of Allegiance was said as well as a prayer led by Pastor Jim Sussex. There were no corrections to the minutes of the previous Council meeting. Ald. Coggs moved that the Council go into a committee of the whole. Ald. Coggs moved that the Committee rise and the Mayor's Budget be submitted to Finance and Personnel Commitee for review as well as a proposed public hearing relating to the 2018 budget. Pres. Hamilton presented the winners of the Frank P. Zeidler award: Jesus Salas and Reggie Jackson.
