A. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA
1. R_12770 Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held on March 2, 2016.

Mr. Pérez discussed the following items and made note of particular areas of interest
for the Board:
• An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “PHAs Sort Through Rules
Deluge”
• An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “HAL HUD Pivots on Public
Housing Policy”
• An email from HUD regarding HUD and the Office of Inspector General COCC
Audit Resolution
• An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Rental Housing Hurdles A Red
Light”
• An opinion piece from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel entitled “Housing is at the
Heart of Poverty” about Matthew Desmond’s book “Evicted”
• The 2014 Public Housing Assessment System score
• A sample agenda of the 03/28/16 Monthly Conference Call with HUD regarding
Choice Neighborhoods and the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program
• The Agenda of the March 8th meeting with MICAH and the Minutes of the
January 20th meeting
• A Gift Acknowledgement from the Sojourner Family Peace Center
• A Thank You Letter from the United Community Center for the Table
Sponsorship of their Anniversary Celebration

MANDI Event
Mr. Pérez thanked the Commissioners for their commitment to HACM, including
taking time out to travel and appreciates their interest in continuing to learn about this
industry.
Mr. Pérez noted that the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency Grants from the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developed for College Court, Locust Court
and Merrill Park.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Commissioner Van Alstine made a motion to
adjourn the meeting at 3:05p.m. Commissioner Witkowiak seconded the motion.
There being no objections, the motion carried.

2. R_12771 Resolution approving the Westlawn Relocation Plan
Incorporating HUD regulations and procedures, the plan provides guidance for both the
agency and residents in undertaking the relocation efforts for the west side of
Westlawn.
3. R_12772 Resolution approving an offer from Patricia Hicks to purchase the home
located at 4135 North 48th Street for $62,000
This is a three bedroom single family tax-foreclosed home located in the 7th Aldermanic
District. This property is being sold under the Market Rate program.
4. R_12773 Resolution approving an offer from Saxony LLC to purchase the home
located at 4875 North 74th Street for $72,000
This is a four bedroom single family home tax-foreclosed located in the 2nd Aldermanic
District. This property is being sold under the Market Rate program to Saxony LLC,
which has provided the highest and best offer.
