CITY OF MINERAL POINT 137 HIGH STREET, SUITE 1 MINERAL POINT, WI 53565 608-987-2361 MINUTES CITY OF MINERAL POINT PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING Thursday, January 22, 2026, 5:00 PM City Hall Community Room CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order by Chair Burrows at 5:14 p.m. Keith Burrows, Chair Present Chuck Allendorf Present Chris Goodney Present Others Present: City Administrator Matthew Honer, Clerk-Treasurer Christy Skelding APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 1, 2025 MINUTES Motion (Allendorf/Goodney) to approve the minutes from the October 7, 2025 meeting. Motion carried, all voting aye (3-0). DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF DRAFT PERSONNEL POLICY Administrator Honer sent the draft Personnel Policy to the committee in December. The only issues that have come up has been sick time donation, and defining “hours worked” in relation to overtime. The Committee wanted the policy to reflect that overtime to be only for hours physically worked and they are ok with donated time. This will be sent to employees to review before approval. MOTION TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION VIA ROLL CALL VOTE PURSUANT TO WIS. STATS. 19.85(1)(c) FOR CONSIDERATION OF EMPLOYMENT, PROMOTION, COMPENSATION, OR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION DATA OF ANY PUBLIC EMPLOYEE OVER WHICH THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY HAS JURISDICTION OR EXERCISES RESPONSIBILITY (EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION REVIEW AND WATER SEWER OPERATOR POSITION). Motion (Allendorf/Goodney) to convene in closed session at 5:37 p.m. Motion carried, all voting aye (3-0). ADJOURN. Motion (Allendorf/Goodney) to adjourn at 6:00 PM.
