MINUTES Main Street Advisory Board May 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. STEVE PERDUE TRAINING CENTER 316 S. OAK AVE, MINERAL WELLS TX In attendance Staff: Main Street Manager, Myndi Muncy Board members: Cody Jordan, Tai Silva, Carol Kaspar, Dianne Templar, Amy Hopkins, and Linda Ashby Guests: Virginia Smith, and Alisha Alton. 1. Cody called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. 2. Minutes from the March 9, 2022 meeting were approved based on a motion made by Linda and seconded by Tai. 3. UPDATES FROM THE STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION 3.1. Mission & vision statements were presented and approved based on a motion made by Linda and seconded by Amy. 3.2. We will have one more strategic planning meeting to discuss project list. 4. UPCOMING EVENTS 4.1. Rodeo Street Dance, Fri. 5/13 - 9:00 p.m. - 12a.m. ● Rowdy Decker Band will be performing, there will be a bounce house and Los Canitas and Echanique’s Filipino Cuisine food trucks present. 4.2. Rodeo Parade, Sat. 5/14 - 3:00 p.m. ● Route was shortened due to construction on NE 1st Ave. 4.3. Food Truck Park Grand Opening, Tues. 5/24 - 11:00 a.m. ● Poston Square has received adequate electric hookups and will receive water hookups as well. 4.4. Merchant Meeting, Wed. 5/25 - 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. ● To be held at Crazy 8’s. Good response in RSVPs from the merchants. 4.5. Sip & Shop, Thurs 5/26 - 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. ● Twelve merchants showed immediate interest. Flyers are printed to distribute. Eventbrite event has been created. 4.6. Travis Elementary 5th grade field trip to downtown, Thurs 5/19 5. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS 5.1. There was no future business added to the agenda. 6. PUBLIC COMMENT 6.1. There was no public comment. 7.
