March 23, 2012 MINOT CITY COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING – 11:45 PM. ROLL CALL Members Present: Barney, Connole, Frey, Greenheck, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig, Krabseth, Lehner, Miller, Olson, Seymour, Withus. Members Absent: Frantsvog. Mayor Zimbelman presiding. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Zimbelman led the City Council in the Pledge of Allegiance. DECLARE ALDERMAN VACANCY – WARD 4 - APPROVED Alderman Lehner moved that the City Council declare a vacancy in Ward 4 effective at close of business on March 23, 2012; further, fill the vacancy at the June 12, 2012 election with signature petitions due by April 13, 2012; and further, authorize the Finance Director to publish the notice of the vacancy. Mayor Zimbelman thanked Alderman Greenheck for his service. Alderman Greenheck thanked the Mayor, City Council and City staff for their support. Motion seconded by Alderman Barney and carried by the following roll call vote: ayes: Barney, Connole, Frey, Greenheck, Hatlelid, Jantzer, Knudsvig, Krabseth, Lehner, Miller, Olson, Seymour, Withus. nays: none. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Alderman Miller moved that the City Council meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Lehner and carried unanimously.
