October 26, 2022 Meet the Candidate Forum – Minot City Council CANDIDATE FORUM – October 26, 2022 AT 6:00 P.M. Members Present: Streyle, Podrygula, Jantzer MACEDC hosted the Candidate Forum for the City Council Member Candidates at the City Hall Council Chambers. They requested online question submittal during the forum and also accepted audience questions during and prior to the forum. Roscoe Streyle and Scott Burlingame were able to give a brief introduction of themselves. City Council Member candidates answered questions about what their plans were for the two years they would serve on council, the funding available once NAWS is complete, how to entice new businesses and retain/grow current business, MAGIC Fund dollars being used for the healthcare industry, property tax funding, Wayfinding Signage, etc. There was no official city business discussed at the meeting.
