To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:23 p.m. on March 29, 2012: 1. That the City Council approve the request by Sweet & Flour Patisserie, Inc. for a Retail Beer and Wine alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Sweet & Flour Patisserie (400 Central Avenue East, Suite 103), effective April 16, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Olson, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously. 2. That the City Council ratify the following administratively approved requests: a. Minot Exchange Club for a local permit to conduct raffles on June 6, 2012 at Planet Pizza (220 S Broadway). b. Magic City Youth Baseball for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 15, 2012 at the Moose Lodge (400 9th St SW). c. 125 Motorcycle Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on July 21, 2012 at The Ranger Lounge (1218 S Broadway). d. Minot Matwrats Wrestling Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 21, 2012 at Magic City Campus (1100 11th Ave SW). e. Edison Elementary School PTA for a local permit to conduct raffle and bingo on April 20, 2012 at Edison Elementary School (701 17th Ave SW). g. Minot Public School Foundation for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 12, 2012 at Holiday Inn-Convention Center (2200 Burdick Expy E). h. Souris Valley United Way for a local permit to conduct raffle on March 31, 2012 at North Hill Bowl (1901 N Broadway). i. Grand International for a special event permit on March 15, 2012 at MSU Student Center (500 University Ave). j. Minot Area Homeless Coalition, Inc. for a local permit to conduct raffle March 10, 2012 at Sidekicks Lounge (1901 S Broadway). k. Sports on Tap for a special event permit on March 16, 2012 at the basement of Sports on Tap (220 S Broadway). l. Ebeneezer’s for a special event permit on March 17, 2012 in the east parking lot of Ebeneezer’s (300/304 Central Ave East). m. Sunnyside Elementary School for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 13, 2012 at Sunnyside Elementary School (1000 5th Ave NW). n. Omicron Tau Honor Society in Nursing for a local permit to conduct raffle on May 3, 2012 at Taube Museum (2 Main St N). ********** The above motion by Alderman Olson, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously.
