To the Honorable Mayor and All Aldermen: Following are the minutes of the Liquor/Gambling Control Committee meeting called to order at 4:52 p.m. on May 2, 2012: 1. That the City Council approve the request by Gangl Restaurant Enterprises, LLC for a Supper Club alcoholic beverage sales license, dba Montana Mike’s Steakhouse (3816 South Broadway), effective June 1, 2012. ********** The above motion by Alderman Withus, seconded by Alderman Connole, and carried unanimously. 2. Colin Brown Y’s Men’s Club for a local permit to conduct raffle on Monday nights from August 1, 2012 to December 30, 2012 at YMCA (3515 16th St SW). e. Minot Police Union to conduct raffle on April 7, 2012 at the Grand International Inn (1505 N Broadway). f. Souris Valley Humane Society for a local permit to conduct raffle on April 21, 2012 at the Grand International (1505 N Broadway). g. General Information The City Attorney informed the Committee a hearing would be potentially held at the next Liquor and Gambling Control Committee meeting regarding incidents with licensed bars and alleged violations.
