CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Roberson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM CLOSED SESSION
Information Resources Director/City Clerk Gawf announced the following:
On two unanimous roll call votes, the City Council gave confidential direction in a conference
with their labor negotiator, Gina Donnelly, regarding employee organizations: General
Employees of Monterey (GEM), Management Employees’ Association (MEA), Monterey Fire
Fighters Association (MFFA), Monterey Fire Chief Officers Association (MFCOA), Monterey
Police Association (MPA).
On a roll call vote, the City Council gave confidential direction in a conference to their real
property negotiators, John Mahoney, Dino Pick, Kimberly Cole and Janna Aldrete, regarding
property at 256 Figueroa Street; negotiating parties: Surfside Enterprises, Inc.; under
negotiation were the terms and conditions for a lease extension. The vote was 3-2 with Barrett
and Downey voting no.
On a roll call vote, the City Council gave confidential direction in a conference to their real
property negotiators, John Mahoney, Dino Pick, Kimberly Cole and Janna Aldrete, regarding
property at 6 Fisherman's Wharf, Suite C; negotiating parties: Paluca Trattoria (Sal Tedesco);
under negotiation were the terms and conditions for a new lease. The vote was 4-0-1, with
Barrett abstaining.
On a roll call vote, the City Council gave confidential direction in a conference to their real
property negotiators, John Mahoney, Dino Pick, Kimberly Cole and Janna Aldrete, regarding
property at 6 Fisherman's Wharf, Suite B; negotiating parties: Ben Balester; under negotiation

were the terms and conditions for a new lease (4-0-1; Barrett abstaining)
The City Council received a report in a conference to their real property negotiators, John
Mahoney, Dino Pick, Kimberly Cole and Janna Aldrete, regarding property at 84 Fisherman's
Wharf; 6 Fisherman's Wharf, Suite C; negotiating parties:: Sam's Fishing Fleet (Chris Arcoleo
and Anthony Lombardo); under negotiation were the terms and conditions for a new lease
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Roberson adjourned the meeting at 7:01 p.m.

Council's action on that item, and you will be recognized. Notification as much in advance as possible is
appreciated.

Any writings or documents pertaining to an open session item provided to a majority of the City Council
less than 72 hours prior to the meeting, shall be made available for public inspection at the front counter
at the City Clerk's Office, Room 6 at City Hall, Madison & Pacific Streets, Monterey, California 93940
during normal business hours
Information distributed to the Council at the Council meeting becomes part of the public record. A copy of
written material, pictures, etc. should be provided for this purpose.
