At this time, the public may speak for a maximum of three minutes on any subject which is within the jurisdiction of the Monterey Neighborhood Improvement Program Committee and which is not on the agenda. Any person or group desiring to bring an item to the attention of the Neighborhood Improvement Program Committee may do so during Public Comments or by addressing a letter of explanation to: NIP Coordinator, Planning, Engineering, and Environmental Compliance (PEEC) Division, City Hall, Monterey CA 93940. INFORMATIONAL REPORTS & STAFF COMMENTS INFORMATIONAL REPORTS & STAFF COMMENTS supply the Committee with written or oral information that they may wish to take action by placing the item on a future agenda. 5. Receive Update for Lower Presidio Walkway-New Monterey to Pacific Street(32n0404) and Lower Presidio Walkway Phase II (34n0530) 6. NIP Spokesperson Reports PUBLIC APPEARANCE PUBLIC APPEARANCE items are reports on action or informational issues that might stimulate public discussion, but that do not require formal noticing. You are welcome to offer your comments after being recognized by the NIP Staff Coordinator. The Coordinator may limit the time allocated to each speaker. 8. Recommend City Council Approve Appropriation and Transfer of Funds for Additional Funding for the Library Public Address System Project (30n1410) 9. Recommend City Council Approve Appropriation and Transfer of Funds for Additional Funding for the DTM Train Develop Specifications Project (32N1422) 10. Recommend City Council Approve Rescope to Monterey Vista Neighborhood Traffic Plan at Monterey Vista Entrance Medians (Soledad & Soledad/ Mar vista) Project (30n0719) 11. Recommend City Council Approve Rescope of Third Street and Aguajito Curb Bulb-Outs and Crosswalks Project (30n0813) 12. Recommend City Council Approve Rescope of Jessie/Irving Crosswalk Improvements Project (34n0820) COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS COMMITTEE MEMBERS may ask a question for clarification, make a brief announcement or make a brief report on his or her activities. In addition, a Committee member may provide a referral to staff or other resources for factual information, request staff to report back to the body at a subsequent meeting concerning any NIP matter, or direct staff to place a request to agendize a matter of business on a future agenda.
