from PC-D to PC-D-H-2; Application TM-17-0278; Applicant/Owner Kristin Minnich; PC-D
(Planning Community-Downtown) Zoning District; Exempt from CEQA per Article 19,

rezoning the property as a City Historic Resource from PC-D to PC-D-H-2.
Staff Presentation/Commissioner Questions
Chris Schmidt presented the Agenda Report and answered Commissioners’ questions.
Applicant
Kristin Minnich, applicant and owner, responded to Commissioner Latasa’s question about Mr.
Kent Seavy’s historic report saying that the site consists of the main 5000 square foot building
constructed in 1930 along with a second L-shaped building to the east, constructed in the mid-
1940s. She said the back portion of the second building has been modified and was
determined not to have any historic characteristics. Because it was rotted, she said, it needed
to be demolished. Ms. Minnich said she has future plans to replace and modernize the
demolished section.
