Montpelier ADA Committee September 3, 2013 Subject to review and approval Attendance: Kim Brittenham, Chris Lumbra, Jessie Baker, Kevin Casey, Arne McMullen. Introductions and Welcome Meeting called to order by Kim Brittenham, Chair. Tom McCardle is not present, he was going to review the sidewalk assessment, so that will be move to the next agenda. Anne Wilson has moved out west and will no longer be on the committee. Kim passed around a thank you card for her. She was instrumental in making changes to the library. There was a discussion about winter sidewalk clearing and where the city clears and where homeowners are responsible for clearing. A notice should go out to clarify this. Summary of July ADA Anniversary Media Event It was a press release more than a media event. It was on WCAX and NPR and in the Times Argus. Jessie didn’t hear any feedback. Updates From Committee Members Jessie has been in contact with the gentleman who had the Asiana House complaint and she directed him to the State enforcement agency. Review and Approve Minutes from July 2, 2013 There were no corrections and the minutes were considered approved.
