Montpelier Conservation Commission Minutes December 8, 2016 Attendees: Glennie, Emily, Page, Charlie, John, Nick, Emily Markstein (Eco Americorps), Becca (Vista Planning), Roy, Geoff  Minutes reviewed and approved.  Website o Becca to post agenda and minutes. o Asa to meet with Becca.  Strategic Planning o John to confirm with Jens on next meeting o All handed sheet in o 5 year view, a lot of ideas, need to narrow down  Berlin Pond o New legislation in house for local control of drinking water supply o City council to discuss convening board of health about water supply protection o Recommend UV treatment o Fish and Wildlife has submitted three permit applications for boat launch, parking lot, and driveway  Montpelier not notified  Water line under property  Need to have City input  No formal response from council o City well aligned with desire to close water supply o 10% of state use surface water ponds for drinking water supply o City council to discuss Wednesday the 14th  NRI Map Review and Zoning o NRI map data to RPC. Nice work James. o MCC to review after received from Becca. o Meeting for review on Monday at 5:30pm.
