MONTPELIER HOUSING AUTHORITY Regular Meeting February 16, 2016 The meeting was called to order at 7:50 p.m. by Chairman McCullough with Commissioners Larson and Zern present. Commissioners Audy and Coble were absent. Agenda Item II – Approve Agenda The agenda was reviewed. No changes were made to the agenda. Agenda Item III – Approval of Minutes Commissioner Larson moved that the minutes of the regular meeting of January 19, 2016 be approved as written. Commissioner Zern seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Agenda Item IV – Review of Vouchers, Bank Statements and Financial Reports Vouchers and bank statements and were made available for Commissioners to review. Financial reports were reviewed and questions were answered. Mrs. Troiano noted that the net income for the Section 8 Voucher Program was low because we only received $45,926 in HAP for December. This is because funds are allocated on a calendar year basis. In January we received the first of the Calendar 2016 funding. The HAP funding for January was $59,971.00. Mrs. Troiano also informed the Board that we will be assisting 118 households as of March 1 due to the fact that we will have two additional Port-Ins that we are billing other housing authorities for. The total ports will be 8. Agenda Item V - Executive Director’s Report The PHAS Score and high performer designation for FY2015 was discussed. Chairman McCullough asked that the PHAS score notification be sent to the City.
