MONTPELIER HOUSING AUTHORITY Regular Meeting June 21, 2016 The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman McCullough with Commissioners Larson and Audy present. Commissioner Zern entered the meeting at 6:20p.m., and Commissioner Coble was absent. Agenda Item II – Approve Agenda The agenda was approved with no changes or additions Agenda Item III – Approval of Minutes Commissioner Audy moved that the minutes of the May 17, 2016 regular meeting be accepted as written. Commissioner Larson seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Agenda Item IV – Review of Vouchers, Bank Statements and Financial Reports Vouchers and bank statements and were made available for Commissioners to review. Mrs. Troiano discussed the financial reports and answered questions. Agenda Item V - Executive Director’s Report I addition to the written report, Mrs. Troiano discussed the shortfalls at Gould Apartments due to the large number of turnovers resulting in carpet and hard flooring having to be replaced. After a short discussion of options it was the consensus of the Board that $6,000 be transferred from the replacement reserve. Agenda Item VI – Discussion and Action FY17 – Operating Budget Mrs. Troiano presented the budget Howie had prepared and answered questions. She noted that the salaries, benefits and non-routine maintenance are as approved by the Board at the May 17, 2016 meeting. Pro-rations of administrative expenses remain the same as last year, with the exception of the Executive Director’s salary. After further discussion, Commissioner Zern moved that the FY16 Operating Budget be approved as presented and that Chairman McCullough be authorized to sign the HUD required resolution. Commissioner Audy seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
