New Business a. Conversation with Senior Center Board and Building Update. i. Goal: How to build toward multi-generational community center. A long discussion followed around the following: a. Transfer to city by July 1st. b. Rec. Budget in fy17 city budget. c. Looking at long term vision – Community services. d. Need to know Strategic Vision for boards to give advice. e. Want to see efficiencies with consolidation. f. Models of other departments for ideas. g. Budget changes h. Training staff to City protocols. i. Minutes kept at all meeting to keep everyone informed. j. Discussion of employee wage process in transfer. k. Put a plan in place. Consultant vs facilitator. l. Building: Management & Labilities m. Long term potential – Update vs New Building n. Commercial appraisal to be done on building. RFP. II. Approval of December 2015 Minutes a. Motioned: Buzz motioned to table December 2015 Minutes. b. Seconded: Karlynn c. Approval: 2 yes, 1 no III. Financial Statements a. $8,000 ahead of last year in revenue b. Concerned about lack of rentals over two years c. 51.55% revenue remaining d. $21,000 below in expenses IV. Old Business a. Skating i. No skating rink on state house lawn. ii. Goal to have it for next year.  V. Directors Report a. Ice Rink at Pool. i. Will start working on rink at pool. ii. Will reach out to state house rink folks to see if they will help us. VI. Program Coordinator/Pool Director’s Report a. Skating with Frosty i. 130 participants ii. $194.00 taken in revenue after expenses. iii. Thinking of more long term contracts. b. Pickleball Clinic i. Todd Keller teaching clinic. ii. Growing numbers iii. Bringing in new income. c. Ski Program i. Pushed back to this week due to weather. ii. Last year 144 attended d. Day Camp i. 7 participants fully staffed. e. Zumba i. 23 participants, beginning instructors, very energetic. f. Struggling with flyers getting out. i. Hoping for help from volunteers ii. Press release/PSA/Email Blast/Online Calendar g. Summer Staff advertising now – March 30th. h. Pool Director coming back. Will get WSI. VII. Other Business a. 6:30 first public hearing of budget. b. 20th Annual Father/Daughter Dance. Volunteers welcome. c. Mother/Son Bowling d. Senior Center – Love your Senior Center Dance. e.
