Montpelier Tree Board Minutes for May 2, 2013 Meeting: 5:30pm Memorial Room, City Hall  In attendance Sarah Hoffmeier, John Akielaszek, Bob Troester, Jeff Schumann  Approved April minutes  Acknowledged work done: Geoff's workshop, spreading gypsum, beaver‐proofing trees, planting two trees at Union, and getting and planting new nursery stock! Wow!!  Green Up Day: Meet at Farmer’s Market at 9am – Sarah H will contact Geoff and his crew to coordinate digging up two trees from the nursery (Jeff S will tag two) and getting compost and mulch o Clean/weed/compost downtown tree pits ‐ Abby C. to lead o Plant two trees on Stonecutters Way (two teams of 4 people each)  Chose 2 work days o Friday, May 17th 3:00pm – 5:00pm o Wednesday, May 22nd 4:00pm – 6:00pm  We will hope to plant one of the following on the above work days  along bike path between Memorial and Taylor  along Stonecutters Way  along Main St.  Current minutes and members on the city webpage needs to be updated – John A to follow­up  John A gave a great summary on the Emerald Ash Borer Preparedness Planning process  Adjourned at 6:30pm Next meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at 5:30pm
