Morgantown Building Commission Meeting Minutes (June 19, 2017) ATTENDEES Members: Terry Jones, President Marlene Savino Gary Murdock Guest: Ryan Simonton, City Attorney The meeting was called to order at 11:00 a.m. Lease of Marina Building to BOPARC President Jones opened the agenda item relating to the lease agreement for space at the Marina Building parcel to discussion. Motion by Gary Murdock to approve, second by Marlene Savino to Approve. Upon request of the President, City Attorney Ryan Simonton discussed the lease provisions, noting the lease will allow BOPARC to manage the premises including any arrangements with the WVU rowing team. Following discussion, the motion passed 3-0. Meeting schedule and procedures Commissioner Murdock initiated discussion of a logistical matter relating to Commission meetings. Following discussion, the Commission requested that City administration provide for an annual meeting of the Commission to review its property inventory and financial obligations. Upon a motion to adjourn by Murdock, seconded by Savino, the meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
