SPECIAL MEETING December 1, 2016:
The Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council
Chambers on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 6:01 p.m.
PRESENT: City Clerk Linda Tucker, Mayor Marti Shamberger, Deputy Mayor Bill Kawecki and Council
Members, Ron Bane, Wes Nugent, Jenny Selin, Jay Redmond, and Nancy Ganz.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
ROLL CALL BY CITY CLERK:
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to WV State Code Section 6-9A-4(b) (2) (A) motion by Kawecki, second
by Ganz to go into executive session in order to discuss recruitment for a new City Manager. Present: Council
and Sarah McKee, VP-Gov-HR USA. Time: 6:02 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Council adjourned the Special Meeting at 9:10 p.m.
