SPECIAL MEETING June 20th, 2017
The Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council
Chambers on Tuesday June 20th, 2017 at 6:10 p.m.
PRESENT: City Clerk Linda Tucker, Mayor Marti Shamberger, Deputy Mayor Bill Kawecki and
Council Members, Jenny Selin, Nancy Ganz. Ron Bane, Wes Nugent & Jay Redmond Absent.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
INTERVIEWS FOR VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS:
Questions were posed to the following candidates for the Met Theatre:
Robin Hess and Kenneth Weiss. Ed Hawkins did not appear had other obligations.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to WV State Code Section 6-9A-4(b) (2) (A) motion by Ganz,
second by Kawecki to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters in considering appointments
to the Boards and Commissions. Present: Council. Time: 6:40 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, Council adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:47 p.m.
