SPECIAL MEETING September 25, 2018: The Special Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 5:10p.m. PRESENT: Deputy Clerk Heather Carl, Mayor Bill Kawecki, Council Members, Rachel Fetty, Deputy Mayor Jenny Selin, Ron Dulaney, and Barry Wendell. Ryan Wallace, Mark Brazaitis was absent. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to WV State Code Section 6-9A-4(b) (2) (A) motion by, second by, to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters in considering new appointments for the Board of Park and Recreation Center (BOPARC) Board. Motion carried by acclamation. Mayor, Council Members and Deputy Clerk present. Time: p.m. INTERVIEWS FOR MUSEUM AND TRANSIT COMMISSIONS: 5:00 p.m. – Pam Ball – Museum Commission 5:15 p.m. – Bryan Phillips – Museum Commission 5:30 p.m. – Harold Saver – Museum Commission 5:45 p.m. – Janessa Pyles – Museum Commission 6:00 p.m. – William Hutchens – Transit Authority Board 6:15 p.m. – Barry Wendell – Transit Authority Board Bryan Phillips was not able to make the interview due to other commitments with WVU. Mayor and City Council will be making their decision at the next regular meeting.
