LEGISLATIVE SESSION December 3, 2019: The Legislative Session Meeting of the Common Council of the City of Morgantown was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 5:10 p.m. PRESENT: City Manager Paul Brake, Assistant City Manager Emily Muzzarelli, City Attorney Ryan Simonton, Mayor Bill Kawecki, Council Members: Zackery Cruze, Jenny Selin, Ron Dulaney, Dave Harshbarger, and Barry Wendell. Deputy Mayor Rachel Fetty was absent. Police Chief Ed Preston, Director of Planning Chris Fletcher, and Airport Director Jon Vrabel. Senator Bob Beach and Delegates Rodney Pyles, Evan Hansen, and Danielle Walker. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION: LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES FOR 2020 WITH STATE REPRESENTATIVES. Council and Representatives were provided a packet of information with the following 2020 priorities from Morgantown City Council and City Manager: 1. Airport Runway Extension Funding 2. Land Reuse Agencies —The Right of First Refusal 3. Sobriety Centers —Review and Revision of Current State Code 4. Annexation AUJOt1RNMENT: There being no further discussion, the Legislative Session adjourned at 6:45 p.m. 1
