He explained that city council had no jurisdiction regarding that issue, but the questions was asked for city council to remove him from both the Morgantown Land Reuse & Preservation Agency Board and the Planning Commission. Danielle Walker – 26 Addison Circle, spoke out on the inclusive within the city, our state and the entire country. The Sourcewell cooperative purchasing agreement has been used by the City of Morgantown many times. Sourcell is an experienced purchasing organization for public and private sector procurement in the United States. Sourcewell competitively solicites contracts from suppliers and streamlines the purchasing process for State and local government entities. The Morgantown Municipal Airport needs an aerial lift to service roadway and parking lot light systems, airfield light systems, maintain the Navigational beacon on top of the Air Trafic Control tower, and to gain access to the roof tops on City maintain buildings. Currently the airport rents the equipment from rental providers in the area. The cost of the aerial lift through the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing program is $44,740.60, which includes a one year warrantly and quarterly inspections required by OSHA. The cost without using the Sourcewell purchasing program would be $49,300.60. The ability to use the Sourcewell purchasing program will save the Morgantown Municipal Airport $4,560.00. The funds for this project are budgeted in the Airport’s capital budget. WHEREAS, the Morgantown City Council authorizes City Manager to sign all documents and papers which accompany or are part of this application, and all comments and papers necessary for the completion of the project should it receive National Park Service approval.
