Minutes MORGANTOWN HEALTH & WELLNESS COMMISSION Online- via Zoom February 4, 2021, 7:00pm Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chair Hannah Keyser at 7:06pm. Present: Ray Glymph, Kim Kelly, Danielle Trumble, Hannah Keyser, Jenny Selin Absent: Geri Dino Approval of Minutes: Minutes from January 7, 2021 meeting were approved by consensus. Follow Up Items: a. VMCCVB Partners Meeting: Hannah Keyser updated the group on the meeting which included a presentation on ways to use outdoor recreational activities to encourage local tourism. b. COVID Response: The commission discussed our ongoing response to the COVID pandemic including sharing Mon Co Health Dept information to the Live Well Morgantown Facebook page. The commission also discussed the possibility of partnering with local businesses to post and share short virtual class activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing. c. Update on BOPARC Collaboration Meeting: It was reported that no meeting had taken place as it was too close to the grant application deadline. The commission members discussed ideas for grants moving forward. New Business: None Public Portion: No comments Adjournment: Jenny Selin moved, and Kim Kelly seconded for adjournment. Meeting was adjourned at 7:59pm. Next meeting will be Thursday, March 4th.
