The meeting was called to order at 7:05
Approval of Minutes:
Minutes from October 7th, 2021 were approved- moved to approve by Councilor Vega and
seconded by Geri
REPORT ON CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSIONS
● Councilor Vega gave the group an update on the ARPA funds and what that can mean
for the HWC.
COMMITTEE MEMBER REPORTS ON CURRENT EVENTS
● Discussion about doing some active work on mental health issues and drug prevention
● Discussion of the possibility of working with youth groups have their input on issues
that are impacted them
FOLLOW-UP ITEMS
● Website discussion tabled
NEW BUSINESS
Discuss what potential products and outcomes we envision from the HWC in the future
● Group discusses what projects we want to work on using Intervention Mapping: Theory-
and Evidence-Based Health Promotion Program Planning: Perspective and Examples
● There will be a draft of a multi-attribute activity chart for the group
● There will be a draft made of how issues can connect to the other issues we were
interested in
