MORGANTOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES 6:30 p.m. December 9, 2021 Council Chambers COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Peter DeMasters, Carol Pyles, William Blosser, Tim Stranko, Michael Shuman, Sam Loretta, and Danielle Trumbull COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Bill Petros and AJ Hammond STAFF PRESENT: Rickie Yeager, AICP CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: DeMasters called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. I. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS: None. II. MATTERS OF BUSINESS: Approval of meeting minutes postponed until January meeting. III. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None IV. NEW BUSINESS: V. MJS21-01 / Frasher-Berryman / 400 Inglewood Blvd. Application for major subdivision of Inglewood Professional LLC, 400 University Avenue, City Tax Map 15, Tax Map 11, Parcels 113 and 122. Yeager presented the staff report. Chad Frasher, representing Mr. Berryman, was present. Mr. Frasher stated that they had already reached out to the surveyor to address items previously mentioned by Mr. Yeager. Being no comments from the board the public hearing was opened, with no one present the hearing was closed. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: After review, staff recommends that the Planning Commission accept the applicant’s proposed major subdivision application and schedule a public hearing to consider the matter on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (389 Spruce Street) in accordance with the Commission’s regular meeting schedule for 2020, provided the following conditions are met: Morgantown Planning Commission Page 1 of 2 December 9, 2021 Minutes Approved 1. All the deficiencies listed above are addressed and new documents (where appropriate) are submitted to the Dev. Services Department for distribution to the Planning Commission and appropriate staff. 2. Staff schedules a Technical Review Committee meeting with appropriate City agencies to review the proposed major subdivision. Comments from the Technical Review Committee meeting will be presented at the public hearing on January 13, 2021. Stranko moved to approve as major subdivision application as presented, seconded by Shuman. VI. FOR THE GOOD OF THE COMMISSION Yeager thanked all the commissioners for their service, and congratulated Carol Pyles for 15 years of service. This will be her last meeting and all wished her well. Yeager presented the calendar for 2022 which was included in the packet. Yeager mentioned that the Comprehensive Plan update is in progress and meetings will be scheduled early in 2022. VII. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 6:40.
