Joe Abu-Ghannam. Meeting Minutes August 24, 2023, at Morgantown High. Guests and Announcements. NEW BUSINESS 1. Revisit discussion on Guanajuato Mexico exchanges and activities (all). 2. Updates on Han Dynasty sculpture relief art exhibit Oct.-Nov., 2023 and Jan.- Feb. 2024: shipping dates, plan for arranging exhibits (George). 3. Exhibits and promotion: October 13, MAC & Arts Walk, then MHS, Art Bar, Eureka (Wiles Hill) in 2024 thru BOPARC. Updates by various members (Liz). 4. Continue discussion of 2023-2024 Activity Plan list as identified: a. Confirm Han Dynasty (fall, winter) exhibits, promotion (all, Liz, George). b. Xuzhou invitation to Mayor and City to attend (November 2-4) the 5th China-U.S. Sister Cities Conference (Kunshan City, Xuzhou), Jiangsu Province. Sponsor: Assn. for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Mayor asked for details on activities and costs: flights, hotels, meals (all). c. Xuzhou #2 request for ‘art cultural exchange’ of a) student ages 4-12, by November 15–plus no deadline for b) adult artists work for exhibit (all) 5. Update Hispanic Month event planning and guest visitor funding (Lola). 6. Continued discussion of MSCC Fiscal Year Budget 2023-2024, and planning (all). Balance in FY 2022-23 Budget, $600 to $700 (estimate). 7. Other recent developments (all).  OLD BUSINESS 1. International Street Festival (mid-April); Cinco de Mayo (May 4?). 2. Operations Items: Confirm meeting dates, 2023-24 and In-Person Meetings, every 3 months; b) if possible, purchase promo-materials, e.g. tote bags, small flashlights, other materials, c) Newsletter, Brochure pending. 3.
