Minutes of Thursday May 28, 2020
Members present: John Trumble, Marti Shamberger, Chris Haddox, Ron Dulaney, Evan Fedorko and
Marly Hazen . Guest Danielle Trumble WAN president
The meeting was called to order by Chris Haddox at 6:05 p.m. via ZOOM. It was noted that there was not
a meeting in March and April 2020 due to Covid-19. Chris announced that Kate Levine had resigned due
to moving outside the area. Commission members were encourage to suggest new members. Two
vacancies currently exist.
Chris Haddox had declined a walk thru of the building with City Public Works Director Alex Stockdale
due to Covid-19 restrictions and requested that a video be made of the interior of the building which could
be shared with the Commission.
Marti offered to post pictures of the exterior of the building and grounds. Chris noted that the lower
fencing on the playground needed repaired.
Chris and Alex discussed the possibility of zone heating and cooling for the building. (Wiles Hill which is
a similar building, currently has a hot water system). The goal is to look at a more energy efficient heating
and cooling system for the building.
The Boys and Girls Club have cleaned out items that were identified earlier by their national officer as
hazardous.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
The next meeting will be June 25, 2020.
