Minutes of Thursday April 29, 2021
Members present: John Trumble, Marti Shamberger, Chris Haddox, Ron Dulaney, Ross
Justice, Marly Ynigues and Evan Fedorko. Guest: Danielle Trumble WAN President
The meeting was called to order by Chris Haddox at 6:04 p.m. via ZOOM. The minutes
were accepted with the correction of Brian Spragg’s name.
Building Tenants-M.T. Pockets is under new leadership. They have been working on
cleaning up their space, and hope to be up and running soon. FODC has continued
working out of their space throughout the pandemic. Popshop has been working with the
city to address concerns in their space. Boys and Girls Club shall make the city aware of
their intentions of continuing to rent their space by Friday April 30. Potential clients are
interested in renting space in the building.
Pollinator Garden-is on hold for the site due to repointing and construction on the building
in the designated garden area. A pollinator garden will be planted at Paul’s Preserve in
Jerome Park.
Outside property issues- The campus of the building site has been well maintained so a
spring cleanup will be delayed. Consideration is being given for ideas of future playground
area improvements, as well as plantings along the hillside of the playground area. The
commission suggested to have the picnic tables that are in disrepair removed from the
front lawn.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
