MOSES LAKE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION A regular meeting of the Moses Lake Airport Commission was held at the Airport Operations Building, Friday, noon, 13 Jan. 2017 Commissioners present: Chairman Darel Fuller, Delone Krueger, Richard Pearce. GUEST: none MINUTES: Minutes for the 09 Dec. 2016 meeting were approved as presented. CORRESPONDENCE: Christmas card form T-0 engineering. AIRPORT INSPECTION: The inspection was completed by Darel Fuller and is attached. February inspection to be done by Richard Pearce OLD BUSINESS: A. Tree and sidewalk repairs. Still waiting for better weather. B. Sprinklers for lawn watering: Motion by Richard Pearce that we coordinate with the Parks Department about the sprinkler system they plan to install. Seconded by Delone Krueger. There was some discussion. Passed unanimously. It was further recommended that the Parks Department be invited to our meeting in March. C. Snow plowing operation. The plowing has been very satisfactory. NEW BUSINESS: A. Facility use request for 2017. The following non- profit organizations have made requests for use of the Operations Building for the year: Radio Control Modelers, Crab Creek Riders, Grant Co. Horsemen and Experiential Aircraft Association. Also, a request for a onetime use of the facility from The Washington Flying farmers. Request were approved by Chairman Darel Fuller and forms are attached. B. Mr. Krueger suggested that we initiate some coordination with the city about the plan for the airport west side perimeter.  C. It was suggested that Grant County Economic Development Council and Grant Co. Airport Board be invited to a meeting to discuss the availability of space on the Municipal Airport. D. Mr. Krueger suggested that at the meeting with the Parks Department to discuss the installation of the irrigation system, we also discuss the mowing operation and the use of the tractor and mower.
