MOSES LAKE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES A regular meeting of the Moses Lake Airport Commission was held at the Airport Operations Building, Friday, 12 pm, July 14, 2017. Commissioners Present: Chairman Darel Fuller, Tom Dent, and Mayor Todd Voth. Absent: Lew Mason and Richard Pearce. Guests/Visitors: none Minutes: Minutes for the June 9, 2017 meeting were approved as published. Correspondence: none Airport Inspection: Darel Fuller August 2017 Inspection: Delone Krueger OLD BUSINESS A. Lawn Irrigation & Mowing – Working with Roland Gonzales, Park Maintenance, changed mowing to Monday. Late fall for sprinkler system installation. B. Gopher Control – Looking into process C. Fill west corner of Airport – Still working on filling on low level areas NEW BUSINESS A. Taxiway Crack Seal & Repair – Will look into state grants to help with cracks on taxiways. Possible resurfacing. B. Volunteer forms to be submitted – one submitted by Greg Hutchinson C. Howard Jorgensen Hangar Construction Request - Discussion on building regulations D. Other – Weeds have been sprayed and mowing is underway. Looking into having professional spray company sterilize problem areas. Volunteer time sheets will be posted in the operations building.
