A. Public Hearing: A Public Hearing to provide notice and receive input
regarding the fees associated with the processing of requests for
access to public records per the Amendment to South Carolina Code
of Laws, Section 34-4-30.
Description Charge
A minimum charge shall be paid for all requests
$10.00
(except certain walk-in requests)
Requestors shall pay for copies exceeding fifteen (15) pages $0.25 per copy1
Requestors shall pay for staff time at a gross hourly rate equal to the
minimum hourly rate of an Administrative Clerk as adopted by Town per hour, per employee2
Council in the Town’s annual budget
Deposit for anticipated or apparent staff search time 25% of estimated costs
