A. Public Hearing: A Public Hearing to receive input on a proposal to
amend the Comprehensive Plan 2009-2019 (2014 Update) Future
Land Use Map by changing the land use designation from
Community Conservation to Commercial for an approximately 1.84
acre tract of land comprised of three parcels and described as
follows: (i) an approximately 0.28 acre tract of land located at 1729
Halls Pond Road, identified by TMS No. 558-00-00-915 and depicted
on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in Plat Book
S19, Page 0029; (ii) an approximately 1.00 acre tract of land located
at 1740 LaCannon Lane, identified by TMS No. 558-00-00-196 and
depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County ROD Office in
Plat Book W, Page 145; and (iii) an approximately 0.56 acre tract of
land located at 1724 LaCannon Lane, identified by TMS No. 558-0-
00-194 and depicted on a plat recorded by the Charleston County
ROD Office in Plat Book S19, Page 0029.
B. Public Hearing: A Public Hearing to receive comments on a proposal
to amend the Mount Pleasant Code of Ordinances, Chapter 155,
Land Development Regulations. Proposed is to amend Paragraph
(F), Design Standards, of Section 155.048, Streets, of Chapter 155,
Land Development Regulations, of the Mount Pleasant Code of
Ordinances by adding a new sub-paragraph (21) thereto,
establishing design standards for the location and installation of
street trees.
C. Public Hearing: A Public Hearing to receive comment on the
proposed Budget for the Town of Mount Pleasant for Fiscal Year
2020 (July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020).
