SPECIAL TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 9:00 a.m. Municipal Complex, Committee Meeting Room 100 Ann Edwards Lane, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 MINUTES 1. Call to Order Mayor Haynie called the Special Town Council meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. Council members Howard Chapman, Carl Ritchie, John Iacofano, Jake Rambo, Laura Hyatt and Guang Ming Whitley were present. Ms. Corley arrived at 9:03 a.m. Mr. Santos was absent. 2. Public Comment [None] 3. Executive Session Christiane Farrell, Assistant Town Administrator reviewed the schedule with Council. (Ms. Corley arrived at 9:03 a.m.) Marcy Cotov, Chief Financial Officer, stated that the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), has partnered with Common Ground Institute and Urban Three and this was an opportunity for them to provide a resource for the Town. a. Short List presentations for Faison Road Request for Proposals b. Discussion of presentations Mr. Rambo moved to adjourn into executive session for the reasons stated on the agenda; seconded by Ms. Whitley. All present voted in favor. Council adjourned into executive session at 9:07 a.m. Mayor Haynie reconvened the meeting at 1:46 p.m. stating no votes or action were taken during executive session. 4. Post Executive Session Council may take action on any item, including any subsection of any section, listed on an executive session agenda or discussed in an executive session during a properly noticed meeting.  Special Town Council November 1, 2022 Page 2 of 2 Ms. Hyatt moved to instruct staff to move forward as discussed during executive session; seconded by Mr. Chapman.
