TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA DESIGN REVIEW BOARD MARCH 31, 2021 MINUTES STAFF REPORT Present: Rick Lambert, Chair, Ian Duncan, Rick Lambert, Tara Spencer, Steve Magoon, Christopher McCarthy. Absent: William O'Neal Staff: Peter Stone, Brittany Johnson, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Lambert called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. A. Approval of Agenda Mr. Magoon moved for approval of the agenda. Mr. Duncan seconded the motion. All in favor. B. Approval of Minutes Mr. McCarthy moved for approval of the minutes. Ms. Spencer seconded the motion. All in favor. C. Public Comment There being no comments, Mr. Lambert continued with the agenda. D. General Correspondence Ms. Johnson stated that the applicant for the 7-11 has requested a continuance. She stated that the correspondence was linked to the agenda and distributed to the Board. E. Consent Motion There were no consent motions.  Design Review Board March 31, 2021 Page 2 of 2 F. Business 1. 7-Eleven, 512 Johnnie Dodds, 514-00-00-070, Preliminary Approval of Site, Landscape, and Architecture CORRESPONDENCE Mr. Stone and Ms. Johnson reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Pat Budronis, representative for 7-11 stated that they are requesting a continuance in order to address the comments from SCDOT. He stated that they would like to also meet with a subcommittee to review the changes prior to coming back to the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. McCarthy moved for approval of the request for a continuance for up to 60 days and for the request to go to a subcommittee to review proposed changes before coming back to the full Board.
