TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA COMMERCIAL DESIGN REVIEW BOARD JANUARY 26, 2022 MINUTES STAFF REPORT Present: Rick Lambert, Chair, Tara Spencer, Steve Magoon, William O'Neal, Chris McCarthy (entered at 5:07 pm) Absent: Ian Duncan Staff: Michele Reed, Mac DeFord, Peter Stone, Jake Carter, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Lambert called the meeting to order at 5:03 pm and reviewed the procedures with the public. A. Approval of Agenda Mr. Magoon moved for approval of the agenda. Ms. Spencer seconded the motion. All in favor. B. Approval of Minutes Ms. Spencer moved for approval of the minutes. Mr. Magoon seconded the motion. All in favor. C. General Public Comment There being no comments, Mr. Lambert continued with the agenda. D. General Correspondence All correspondence was linked to the agenda and distributed to the Board. E. Consent Motions Ms. Spencer moved for consent approval of the following agenda items: ➢ AGB Office Building, 794 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, 535-05-00-165, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. O’Neal seconded the motion. Beacon Community Bank, 2347 N Highway 17, 580-14-00-003,004,005 &007, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Stone and Mr. Carter reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. McCarthy entered at this time (5:07 pm). Mr. Vince Santilli and Mr. Clark Batchfelder reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments or Board questions, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Ms. Spencer moved for approval including staff comments. Mr. Magoon seconded the motion. All in favor. 2. Mediterranean Shipping Company, 700 Watermark Blvd, 560-00-00- 060, Preliminary Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Stone and Mr. Carter reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Vincent Cusumano and Mr. Thomas Martin reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert continued with Board questions. Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. Magoon moved for approval including staff and Board comments. Mr. McCarthy seconded the motion. All in favor. 3. AGB Office Building, 794 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, 535-05-00-165, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture This item was approved by consent.  Design Review Board January 26, 2022 Page 3 of 3 G. Re-adoption of Bylaws Mr. McCarthy moved for approval. Mr. Magoon seconded the motion. All in favor. H.
