TOWN OF MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA COMMERCIAL DESIGN REVIEW BOARD APRIL 26, 2023 MINUTES STAFF REPORT Present: Richard Lambert, Chair, Timothy Kiel, Richard Perez, Joseph Belton Absent: Elysssa Morrison, Abigail Richardson, Lee Cave. Staff: Jake Carter, Chris Lubert, Peter Stone, John Farrell, Lynnette Lynes Mr. Lambert called the meeting to order at 5:02 pm. A. Approval of Agenda Mr. Kiel moved for approval of the agenda. Mr. Perez seconded the motion. All in favor. B. Approval of March Minutes Mr. Kiel moved for approval of the minutes. Mr. Perez seconded the motion. All in favor. C. General Public Comment D. General Correspondence E. Consent Motions There being no comments, correspondence, or consent motions, Mr.Lambert continued with the agenda. F. Business 1. Condado Tacos, 712 Towne Centre Way, 558-00-00-100, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Lubert and Mr. Carter reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Jason Siegler, owner, Anthony Majc, architect, and Andy Lowe, Continental Realty, reviewed the request with the Board. Mr. Kiel moved to allow additional information to be submitted. Mr. Lambert seconded the motion. All in favor.  Design Review Board April 26, 2023 Page 2 of 2 There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. Kiel moved for approval of the request including the approval for removal of the crepe myrtles with staff approval for replacement of vegetation; and to delegate staff approval for a more compliant color. Mr. Perez seconded the motion. All in favor. 2. Cooper Apartments Maintenance Shed, 309 and 311 Harbor Pointe Dr, 517- 00-00-009, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Carter reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Brian Huffwood and Mr. John Bedell, LS3P, reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment. Mr. Lambert moved for approval subject to changing the roof to a gable or hip roof. Mr. Kiel seconded the motion. All in favor. 3. Savannah Grace, 1010 Lake Hunter Circle, 535-00-00-258, Final Review of Site, Landscape, and Architecture Mr. Lubert reviewed staff comments with the Board. Mr. Scott Hendrix, McMillan, Pazdan, Smith, and Mr. Will Rogan, Cypress Engineering, reviewed the request with the Board. There being no comments, Mr. Lambert closed public comment.
