1. Call to order
Mayor Haynie Called the meeting to order at 9:15am.
2. Approval of Minutes from the November 6, 2023 meeting
Mayor Haynie asked that the minutes from the November 6, 2023
meeting be approved.
Mr. Chapman made the motion for approval of the Minutes; seconded
by Ms. Whitley. All present were in favor.
3. Public Comments
There were no public comments.

6. Legal matters
a.Continued discussion of a proposed local hate/intimidation
ordinance
Mr. Pagliarini presented a summary of proposals for the 2 part ordinance
for the Committees/Councils approval.
Discussion followed.
Ms. Whitley made the motion to recommend approval of both parts of
the proposed ordinance to Council. Mr. Chapman seconded the motion.
All present were in favor.
b. Discussion and possible action regarding Code of
Ordinances section 30.06 entitled Inauguration of Members;
Mayor Pro Tempore
Mr. Chapman stated that he wanted to bring this item up for discussion
and possible action by the Committee.
Discussion followed.
No actions or motions were taken at this time.
7. Adjourn
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:36 am.
