The Board of Ethics of the City of Mount Vernon Minutes of the meeting of November 14, 2023 The meeting was called to order by the Chair at 6:35 p.m. Board members present in the Mayor’s Conference Room at City Hall were Curtis Brewington, Chair; Ed Byrnes, Vice-Chair, Blair Hoplight, Beresford Granston and Leslie Alpert. John McGlynn, Secretary, was present via Zoom. Rev. F. Romall Smalls was absent. City Clerk Tanesia Walters was also present. A motion was made to approve the proposed minutes for 9/14/23. The minutes were approved 6-0. A motion to go to Executive Session was made at 6:45 PM, and approved 6-0. Public recording ceased and Ms. Walters left the meeting. Executive Session All matters during this session were con dential in nature, and, therefore, they have been redacted in order to allow this version of the minutes to be available to the public. A motion to end the Executive Session at 7:49 PM was made and approved 6-0. Ms. Walters joined the meeting and resumed the public recording. A motion was made to end the meeting at 7:52 PM; it was approved 6-0. The meeting ended at 7:53 PM. The date of the next meeting will be 12/14/23 at 6:30.
