An ordinance adopting the Annual Budget for the Year 2024. BUDGET DEC1 8 2fl23 qPgClA AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE I ANNUAL BUDGF,T FOR THE YEAR 2024 WHEREAS, on November 29, 2023, the Board of Estimate & Contract directed that the Annual Estimate for the year 2024 be submitted to the City Council, wMch said Estimate was submitted to and received by this City Council; and WHEREAS, on December 5, 2023, and on December 11, 2023, the City Council held a public hearing and extended the opportunity of being heard about said Estimate to those persons who wished to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Mount Vernon, in the City Council convened, does hereby ordain and enact: Section 1. The Annual Estimate for the year 2024, submitted by the Board of Estimate & Contract, is hereby adopted as follows: (Attached Budget) Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately.
