Minutes of the City of Mount Vernon Industrial Development Agency May 6, 2022 A special meeting of the Board of Directors (“Board”) of the City of Mount Vernon Industrial Development Agency (“Agency”) was held on Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Mayor’s Conference Room, City Hall, 1 Roosevelt Square, Mount Vernon, New York 10550 and via video conference. Present: Hon. Shawyn Patterson-Howard Darren M. Morton, Ed.D Stephanie Vanderpool Excused: Brian G. Johnson, Esq. Absent: None Also Present: Michael Curti, Esq., Harris Beach PLLC Robin Mack, Director of Business Development The special meeting was called to order at 1:44 PM by Chairwoman Patterson-Howard. A quorum of members was present. Resolutions Resolution 5/2022-1 Authorizing the Engagement of Additional Services by RBT CPAs Chair Patterson-Howard noted that 2019 was a very different year from other years. During 2019 the IDA had 2 Board Chairs and utilized 2 different recordkeeping systems. Additionally, the IDA board was dissolved during 2019. As a result, additional work is needed to reconcile the audit records. D. Morton noted that he spoke with RBT concerning the request for additional services and cost. Chair Patterson-Howard stated that with the completion of the 2019, 2020, and 2021 fiscal audits together with the completion of the 2019, 2020 and 2021 PARIS Reports, the IDA will be in full compliance with the State Authority Budget Office and will have its powers reinstated. The resolution was unanimously adopted. Business Development Report R. Mack noted that the City Departments of Economic Development and Business Development are co-hosting small business development roundtable with the New York State Conference of Mayors on May 9, 2022. A motion was made by D. Morton, seconded by S. Vanderpool to adjourn the meeting. The motion was adopted by unanimous consent at 1:54 PM. Respectfully submitted by Julie Marshall
