Call to Order
President Sachse called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. and announced a quorum present.

Public Hearing
President Sachse closed the Regular Session at 6:05 p.m. and opened the Public Hearing.
The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence for or against the purchase of property that can be described as 202
Jackson Street, Mt Vernon 0.51 acre tract in the Joseph Talbott Survey A-493 and Joseph Sloan Survey, A-425,
FCAD Parcel #4119 and 303 N Kaufman Street, 0.28 acre tract in the
Joseph Talbott Survey A-493 FCAD Parcel #9668.
No one spoke.
President Sachse closed the Public Hearing at 6:05 p.m. and re-opened the Regular Session.

2. Consider and act upon purchase of real property located at 202 Jackson Street, Mt Vernon 0.51 acre
tract in the Joseph Talbott Survey A-493 and Joseph Sloan Survey, A-425, FCAD Parcel #4119 and 303
N Kaufman Street, 0.28 acre tract in the Joseph Talbott Survey A-493 FCAD Parcel #9668.

This project is to expand the park footprint, this goes along with the City's strategic plan, the Texas
Parks and Wildlife grant. This building has a future police substation possibility and public restrooms
in the area right behind.
Board Member Reports and Discussion
Director Lindholm gave a brief presentation regarding logo TxDOT signage and billboard costs and his idea for
cost sharing with buisnesses that will be taking advantage of the advertising opportunity. Advertising and
promotions already are budgeted so we will be moving forward with this projest as quickly as possible.
At the April meeting we will be chosing officers who will start the new terms in May and the budget cycle will be
starting in May as well. Any and all ideas for budget needs will need to be turned in prior to the budget
discussion.
