Finance & Parks and Enrichment Services Committee Minutes February 15, 2023 Police Court Campus, 1805 Continental Place Councilmember Beaton called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present Councilmembers: Beaton, Brocksmith, Carías, Hudson, Hulst, Molenaar, and Morales Absent: Councilmember Molenaar Staff Present: Development Services Director Groth, City Clerk Jensen, and Code Citizens: 4 1. Approval of January 18, 2023 minutes Councilmember Hudson moved to approve the January 18, 2023 minutes. Motion seconded by Councilmember Morales. Motion carried 6- 0 2. Design Standards Review: Current processes were reviewed The structure and role of the Design Review Board members, staff and consultants as well as potential changes were presented. The Administrative Review process was reviewed. Two options for structure and process of the Design Review Board and the Administrative Review were discussed. Council requested additional information and discussion at the February 22, 2023 Finance & Parks and Enrichments Services Committee meeting. 3. 2023 Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Docket: Completed and outstanding 2022 Docket items, and proposed 2023 items were discussed. Council suggested possible additional items to add to the 2023 docket. 4. Department Updates: Staff updates, process changes, business Mount Vernon City Council February 15, 2023 Page 2 of 2 license approvals, and Camino software kickoff were presented. 5.
