Public Safety Committee Minutes May 1, 2024 Police Court Campus, 1805 Continental Place Councilmember Beaton called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm Present Mayor Donovan Councilmembers: Beaton, Brocksmith, Carías, Molenaar, and Vander Stoep Staff: Fire Chief Brice, Assistant Fire Chief Harris, , Finance Director Volesky, Citizens: 7 1. Approval of April 3, 2023 Minutes Councilmember Hudson moved to table to approval of the April 3, 2024 minutes to June 5, 2024. Motion carried 7-0. 2. Fire  KBA Contract Extension: Chief Brice provided an update of the Fire Station 2 Renovation and discussed the need to execute an amendment to the contract with KBC, Inc. for contract management services. 3. Committee Agenda Requests  none 4. Miscellaneous:  Mr. Volesky provided an update on the TIFIA Loan for the Library Commons project. The meeting adjourned at 6:35 pm.
